The Career and Technical Education Department is pleased to cover the cost of transportation for a standards-aligned field trip with students. Additionally, CTE can cover the cost of guest/sub teachers.
STEP ONE: Contact your Coordinator for field trip approval.
STEP TWO: Read through the CTE STUDENT TRAVEL INFORMATION document. Once you receive approval, you can begin full field trip planning.
Career and Technical Education can cover the cost of a sub/guest teacher so you can attend events related to your position. For example, if you are going to a conference we can cover your sub. If you are going on a field trip but don’t need transportation, just submit a sub request form. You will still have to do a packet, but just for your school. Check with your professional support team in the office for more information.
Are you working after hours on a CTE-approved activity? Extra duty pay is available for various activities. Your Coordinator can give you more information.
Career and Technical Education programs are organized into 14 nationally and federally recognized clusters.
